Your members STILL CAN login - only new registrations (signups) are disabled.
And no, there is no need to code your own registration form. If you want to allow registering anyway, using this component makes no sense at all.

When I download this, it is NOT a valid .zip file... instead it is a folder with files in it.

How may I get it as a .zip file?
