GENERAL TERMS

  1. We reserve the right to edit any content you post.
  2. You will not copy our website theme or layout.
  3. You will not post discussion topics in languages other than English.
  4. You will not use invalid names.
  5. If you wish to delete your account, you must inform us rather than updating your account with incorrect information.
  6. You will not ask us how to remove "powered by" or copyrights.
  7. You will not post links to your website without our permission.
  8. You will not post code/scripts that violate any copyright.
  9. Advertising is allowed for sharing components, themes for OSSN (not including hosting), but we reserve the right to remove any advertising you post.
  10. All paid component projects must include a functional public demo. Projects that do not meet this requirement will be removed.

COMPONENTS PROJECTS

  1. We reserve the right to remove or edit any component project you create.
  2. Components must be released under supported licenses.
  3. You will not use OSSN as the title or ID of the component.
  4. You will not create a component project unless it's completed or ready for download.
  5. You will not post component code that is not readable by humans.
  6. The component you upload will remain part of the community members and must be released under an open-source license mentioned in the licenses list.

CREATING DISCUSSING TOPICS

  1. If you are creating/adding a new discussion topic, the following points should be kept in mind:
    • If you are reporting an issue, follow our reporting bug guidelines: How to report an issue on GitHub Community
    • Arguing with the core team will result in your account termination without any notice.
    • Search existing topics before creating a new one.
    • If you solved your issue, please post the steps you followed to solve it.
    • Provide the steps to reproduce the issue.
  2. The discussion topic must be properly formatted.
  3. Please have your website's URL ready if you are reporting an issue so we can investigate.
  4. To help us look into the issue, you must submit any further information that we ask for.
  5. If a previous discussion is still open, don't start a new one.
  6. Your topic will be closed if you don't include the necessary information.

The Open Source Social Network project is founded by the Open Source Social Network Team, with contributions from companies such as SOFTLAB24 LIMITED, INFORMATIKON TECHNOLOGIES. SOFTLAB24 LIMITED, INFORMATIKON TECHNOLOGIES, and the Open Source Social Network Team shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the project.

DEMO WEBSITE

Open Source Social Network has only one demo at http://demo.opensource-socialnetwork.org/. The contents of the demo are posted directly by users. We are not responsible for any trouble caused by demo contents. If you find something that is owned by you and you think it should not be on the demo site, you can simply delete it directly from the demo website, as the demo contents are not created by us.

FORUM / COMMUNITY CONTENTS

Users own the contents of the forum, and we are not responsible for the contents posted by users.
