This component adds a Bio tab to member profiles allowing to display some additional information like website, occupation, hobbies, images, whatever ...
The bio data can be entered and edited on any member's Account Settings page.
Note: This component needs TextareaSupport installed and enabled, first.
Thanks for your feedback, James.
I'm happy your problems have gone, but of course I would be happier if we have had the chance to track down what was really causing your this issue.
None of the components you reinstalled do have any impact on those failures,
and the listed plugins TinyMCE failed to initalize are in fact part of the core Editor installation which is kept in completely separate from Ossn components.
yes my apologies. although it seems to be gone again since i removed components textaresupport and the components that use it, then reinstalled from the components from the latest premium version. all good to go now, if it happends again ill do a detailed report. not really sure what causes it at this point, thank you for all the hard work
please provide more details as advised on https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/1101/how-to-report-a-bug-error
Thank you very much for the information, James.
Currently I can only recommend to leave RemoveGenders disabled until a fix is available.
UPDATE. ive disabled ''removegenders'' component. this resulted in no error after editing profile. with it enabled, editing the profile brings the error back
ok i see, so would this be a problem with ossnprofile component instead then? ive tried several times, and cant seem to narrow down whats causing the error message, i make sure i edit all fields. but it still happens, when using edit profile
the Bio input field has been coded as 'non-required' from the very beginning.
That is: Even if you leave it completely blank, you wouldn't get a message like that.
