Remove genders from the website (this will remove gender from signup form, user edit, add form). This will surely effect the graphs in the administrator dashboard.
This component is created on user request.

I applied the patch and the language can now be changed in the profile again even though RemoveGenders and RemoveBirthday are activated at the same time.
A very big Thank You for this patch.

Honestly I am disappointed that you were using additional components that causing issue. Anyway see https://github.com/opensource-socialnetwork/opensource-socialnetwork/issues/2385
You can apply patch with original components without changing anything

Sorry for the confusion. I had changed the version in the ossn_com.xml file in RemoveGenders to 2.1 because I use the ComponentUpdates component and didn't want to see the update message anymore.
I have now reset everything back to the original version in the OSSN test version.
I also found out that if you activate the RemoveBirthday component at the same time as RemoveGenders, the language in the profile can no longer be changed.
You can try this out now in my test version. So the problem is with RemoveBirthday, not with RemoverGenders.

No idea what is wrong with your installation here is

Fresh installation and the 2.1 remove gender shows 2.0 in my admin panel (Which is fine because I haven't updated manifest file and uploaded here on repository)
However on your installation where did you get 2.1 in admin panel for remove genders? Shows you are using modified version of it.

Thank you for taking the time to investigate the issue further. I have sent an email with the requested information.

Again everything works fine here is a proof (fresh OSSN installation) and remove gender only. Birthdate is still there and i can register. Maybe its time for you to check your server. Or provide website URL of freshly installed OSSN and admin login details (you can send admin details at [email protected]) and notify here.

Thank you very much for the additional confirmation and the very valuable tips.
I have reinstalled OSSN several times to exclude any effect from other components. Manually ( https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/706/how-to-install-open-source-social-network ) and with the Softaculous Installer.
Every time I activate Remove Genders again, it is impossible to create a new account. I don't get an error in the error log file either. What is even stranger is that the birthday is no longer there in the registration form after activating the Remove Genders component.

As Arsalan I cannot confirm any strange side effects introduced by this component.
Maybe they appear only in combination with one or more 3rd-party components you installed or because of any changes you applied to the core system? Thus, in order of tracking down the bug, I'd start from scratch with a clean core Ossn, install Remove Genders, run a check, and re-install anything else step by step, check again, and so on until the bug appears again. And of course check your error log. See https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/1101/how-to-report-a-bug-error-issue

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, I just tested the registration and found that once the component is active, you can no longer create an account.
