Mention Notifications Download 1.0

This component is a tool that sends notification when user is mentioned in posts. This component requires that MentionUsers to be disabled (provided by bryce) because that component didn't work as intended it works with names and send notification to all users with such a name. Whereas Mention UI intended to tag user only the person selected in the list.
The component requires https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/component/view/4844/mentions-ui
This send notification only if person is tagged in comments of following:
- wall post created using newsfeed/profile.
- Profile photos.
- Profile covers.
- Album photos.

I am guessing you are using a MentionUsers component by bryce you need to disable it The other error means you need to install https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/component/view/4844/mentions-ui

I installed this but there is red x arrow and stating the Mentions component >= 2.4 then the X in a red circle.

amazing update. after typing @ sign selections of users will appear without typing their name. superb!

Okay... getting the following behavior of the user's last name being added again after the tag, not sure which of the two involved components is the culprit... using both mentionsUI and mentions notification:
