A basic API for your OSSN website, which allows you to integrate OSSN into your applications. This is a initial version and will be improved in the future. This component is introduced in OSSN v5.0 and requires minimum OSSN v5.0

Can anybody explain or show an example what is this API is usefull specific to Ossn? What is it being used for?

thank you for adding this, it will certainly be very useful for those of us who wish to integrate OSSN with other applications or add certain features. One thing I would like to suggest is that it would be nice if the next version had a simple way to interact with OSSN's notification system, e.g. an endpoint that can be called to add/view/delete notifications for a given user.
