Okay I am breaking my own rule just this one time.

I am running Microsoft Windows server 2003 in order to use IIS you need to search using PHP with IIS it requires another program called fastCGI I myself only got it to work once with a game server I have but I have switched everything to xampp version xampp-win32-1.8.2-6-VC9 it has everything in it including Mysql...I hope this helps you and good luck. Up to what I know, OSSN has never been installed on MS systems natively. You'll need at least somethings like wamp, lamp or a virtual linux machine with apache, PHP 5.4 and MySQL

Hello out there people of the internet. I am also having issues carrying out the initial set up as I have only worked with ASP.NET web applications running on MS Server and with MS SQL as the database engine. If any of you kind folks could lend a hand getting the database set up and creating the required directories with their respective permissions that would just be super awesome and I promise to take you out for ice cream should you ever happen to visit Argentina. This is caused by the STRICT_TRANS_TABLES SQL mode defined in the %PROGRAMDATA%\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.6\my.ini file. Removing that setting and restarting MySQL should fix the problem.

If editing that file doesn't fix the issue, see http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/option-files.html for other possible locations of config files.

On mysql user database I have check all the privileges, and of course I set user and password even with the simple password.
