There has been a discussion about hashtags for OSSN 2.0(!) but this component was not developped.

I have check with OSSN team. The hashtag component is in the roadmap of OSSN core team. They don't have any exact date of release.
Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
