Is it possible to disable the user invitation functionality? At least, I only want administrators to be able to use this functionality.

Completely? Yes.
Disable the component named OssnInvite 3.0 in the component section of your Ossn administrator backend.
Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
