@daniel, as i said "once its released" Ossn v3.0 will release on 15th august or sooner , just wait till its public release.

I have created a SMTP component , https://github.com/opensource-socialnetwork/SMTP
but this will only work on v3.0 (once it released)
What is the function of this component?
"This component will override default emails notificatios and allows ossn system to send notification emails using your smtp server. Few hosting providers didn't have php mail() enabled, Users belong to this category can try this component."

@Daniel, i have registered but no email. I'll create a simple debug component.
that should work now could you try make a user syed ?
if you do please chek spam folder as new servers do that some time
