I would like to use the hashtag data table for other objects used in my components., inserting them for those different objects as well as for the posts.
Is this possible?

No its not possible in current version and please don't add other data into same table
Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
