Both issues have been fixed in Member Avatars 6.2

Actually, we have 2 problems:

1. Picsum have changed their way of delivering images (that's your finding)
2. Version 6.1 of this component is not compatible with Ossn >= 6.2.

picsum profile images are not generating anymore for me. It was working till last week, but stopped working now.

We are getting this below issue...
PHP WARNING: 2022-09-13 17:14:09 (IST): "filegetcontents(https://picsum.photos/id/243/170/170.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden^M
" in file components/MemberAvatars/picsum-generator/picsum.php (line 15)

I was able to fix the Picsum photos issue in V 1.6. Thanks again for reporting.
Unfortunately the Avataaars option doesn't work anymore. Their latest API allows to fetch svgs only, which can't be converted to jpgs without 3rd party libraries, so I removed it.
Members who are still interested may create and download an avatar manually from their site https://getavataaars.com/
