You're running 1.8, right? (It's always helpful to mention the version when sending questions or bug reports)
Okay: With 1.8 there are several words, which can't be translated in the language files, because these words are part of the code.
This is fixed already. With 2.0 EVERYTHING will be translatable in the language files. So I'd suggest to wait for 2.0 which is announced to be available in early February.

There's a page with still open issues and another one showing issues which are resolved already.
