In every community all over the world, we have a right to vote for change for many reasons, It can be useful for collage politics, Local voting for a candidate for miss world, you get the idea...
The component should be able to allow the user to add a current user to the OSSN site which would display their profile image and some info about why they are qualified to be selected for the pole.
The component should also allow the user to add a person who is not on the OSSN website.
and there should be included some results widgets to show how the voting is going on the onns website.
Please feel free to elaborate on this idea.

Is there a Polling or Voting component for the OSSN by now?

I'm looking for something like this as well - has there been any progress? It could probably be done with a 3rd party poll/voting API like polldaddy.com fairly easily. I can understand why you might prefer not to use a 3rd party solution though.

Very amazing idea
