Question About Starting New Social Network
So I plan on starting a unique social network. I have 10+ years experience in PHP. But because of a deadline i have to get this finished I am going the Open Source route for the very first time. So here are 3 questions..
- Open source means i can change/add to the entire source code as needed there is no limitations to what I can do right?
- Is the powered by link allowed to be removed/replaced? If i'm simply using this software for myself and not redistributing it?
- If i wanted to in the future create a new software from this existing code base and sell it is that ok to do?

Simply reading the Ossn license https://github.com/opensource-socialnetwork/opensource-socialnetwork/blob/v4.x/LICENSE.txt would already answer a lot, I think.
