I believe I did all the steps right but when I click to install it stops at installation/?page=account all I get is a blank page, if this topic is already posted sorry for doing it again I couldn't find anything.

Can you check requirement or which hosting you are using and plane?

Please have a look into your webserver logfile.
Most likely your environment is missing the PHP mcrypt extension which is needed for password encryption.
Make sure mcrypt is installed and enabled on your host.
