My social network is geared towards avatars in virtual worlds. Recently I have had complaints and people not registering because of the gender requirement. How can i either remove this or add another field.

Malik, I have the custom user fields but it does not allow me to do anything with the gender field.

More question to the above question can we add field of registering by mobile phones so that a user can opt to register by mobile phone number instead of email address
