I just started using the mobile app from Softlab24, and for the most part it's fine, but I have noticed that it's significantly slower than accessing my OSSN website (from the same connection). Do others experience this as well?

even after enabling caching, the mobile app is extremely slow. I have tried accessing my OSSN site from the same connection via a web browser and the difference is quite noticeable. I timed the number of seconds that it takes to access portions of OSSN such as the news feed, profiles, and photo albums. The mobile app is roughly 3x slower than my website.
I haven't tried sniffing the traffic or anything (maybe i'll give this a shot tomorrow), but I'm almost positive the app is doing something more than requesting the html content used on the website.

Make sure your website have cache enabled and make sure your server is fast enough to respond to the app.
Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
