I have downloaded but i cant install it on my own LAMP server please help me

when i install it , i have a problem " MOD_REWRITE REQUIRED", so please help me

I think the reason that some people would like to install OSSN on a LAMP server rather than use the VM image is that they use some hosting provider which gives them remote access (rather than local access), meaning installing VMware (or similar) and then using it to start an image is not the most practical thing. In this case, the easiest thing would be to contact Softlab24 and request a custom installation, I think they have an option to do this for around $50 USD.
Why stressing yourself with setting up a LAMP server correctly?
