That is why it is being told always not to install components and trust them , that are outside of this community. TOMCAT if your components are fine, you should upload here by following the correct guidelines.

Which older module you installed? (Doing edit stuff in ossn_components table, it will not have any effect as you already deleted the component directory).

So again which component you installed?

go to Database Table "ossn_components" and delete the component from it

i installed an older mod wich broke the site (500 error), i removed it from the folder via ftp, but still same issue....any way to clear this?

thanks again...im using the default theme...so location for file that i need to edit is "system/plugins/default/pages/contents/index.php
