There is a way to add functions or link buttons to other pages in the menu. Ex: Ossn hangout, does not appear in the mobile version even if installed.

Andre,
you may use the MenuBuilder component to insert additional links in any menu of your choice.
I decided to put it the Sidebarmenu below Links ...
and use the video cam icon
after saving you'll see the summary on the admin backend
and on my frontend it looks like this
