Proposal: Component for Following Tags + Notifications (watch-tag system)
I would like to propose a new OSSN component that adds a missing piece to the current tagging system.
Right now tags can be used for filtering posts, but there is no mechanism that allows users to follow a specific tag and receive notifications when new posts containing this tag are published. For communities that rely heavily on tags instead of algorithmic feeds, this feature is essential.
