Can you please make Blogs 2.17 available for download again since everything after that is dependent on content sharing, which is unfinished?

@~Z~ Man - OK... THAT code has been removed. Was a leftover in Custom CSS/JS that I have posted previously about that altered stuff. Anyway. SAME result. Not copying to clipboard.

Now.. I noticed when disabling before, that it doesn't revert back to the old share feature on blogs, either. oy-yoy-yoy. Before going to the Rest7, at least this was -partially- working for me.

@James
So at least the basics seem to work now.
You may only hover "Share Link" and you should see the correct url at the bottom of your browser in advance.

Actually, there are still issues with preview image creation if the to be converted html can't be rendered by rest7.com.
Maybe I can find a better alternative later ...

@~Z~ Man ... geeze... let me find that bugger. "media.net"??? isn't even supposed to be there anymore. Thanks. Didn't see that in my devtool display. (Chromium on Ubuntu).

a problem im getting with this latest 2.2 version is when i share a link it defaults to copying the link as the home page, note i have my installation in a subfolder. @ https://exploratoryminds.com/premium maybe this is why its not copying the link properly. otherwise im not really sure why its doing this.

Okay... the assumption that the ad code was causing the error in the component was wrong. I removed it, which removed the javascript error from the page,but even with that code removed the failure to copy the link to the clipboard, despite it saying it did but couldn't generate a preview, still exists.

Regards,

Phil

Well... if it's part of my advertising stuff that's causing the error, well... what can I say. Then content sharing is of no use to me at this time, though a highly requested feature. Shame, because it had potential. Shouldn't matter about advertising stuff, or what browser, honestly. I hope this would try to be worked around rather than expecting a webmaster to stop running ads code.

Also... how is this? Blogs shared before, showing user profile picture and blog title, but now they don't. Nothing in the ads code has changed, so I don't think jumping to that conclusion may be it.

Also... something to note... on facebook. Am getting differing results with sharing different types of posts when doing from my Android mobile app. If I share the link of a post with anexternal link attached, it shares the article link, and the link shared on facebook goes directly to the article in the post rather than to the post on my site . I attempted to share a post on facebook (via app) with a meme (uploaded as a photo) and it never copied the content to the clipboard, so the subsequent share copied the previous held content which was the link to the article.

regards,

Phil
