Ask your provider where to create a directory which is

1. owned / readable / writeable by the webserver of your host
2. not mapped to the web accessable part of your domain

I think I'm gonna go crazy! There is no way I can make this damn thing working. Am I missing something? The only way to make it work is to install the platform like:

http://sitename.dom/platform for it to read the damn [data] file, and that's a no go!

it should be named data or ossn_data

create a directory/folder outside the www/public_html directory and name it data
and try restalling again
