My social network site built with OSSN is doing great
Just wanted to say I am glad that OSSN is available to us. I opened my site to the public 4 days ago and already have 114 members...and no, it's not a porn site or anything like it. It's specific to a field of work.
Can't wait to see it continue to grow.
Yes I to am trying to find my niche. www.wow-friends.com is my site. It's for World of Warcraft players. I am trying to get them to separate their regular Facebook personal OSSN with their gaming one. It's slow to start, but getting people little by little.
I have been promoting it asking friends to spread the word. Now on my 5th day, I am almost to 130 members. 6 people joined in the last 5 minutes and seems to still be happening.
My site is pretty basic with hardly any customization. I have changed a little css but that's about it.
Just wrote this post so that others can hopefully be inspired to not give up. Find a niche and stick with it and you can succeed.

If you don't mind, how have you promoted your site? that is a great number of users to acquire in 4 days! :) Congrats! also, would you mind if i looked at your site? I'm still just playing with modifications and having fun learning some .php. Anyways, congrats on your quick success!
