Notification event bugs
once seen the notification shouldnot show as per me , but currently unless each and every notification is individually seen the number of notificati8n doesnot decreases.

You're right.
Currently, you really have to click and view every single notification to make the counter decrement.
I have opened a feature request (#202) at the developers bug tracker.
