I fool around with a lot of CMS's and frameworks and maybe I saw this someplace else, but I thought it was in OSSN but can't seem to locate it now...
Is there a setting where I can add new users to a collection of groups which I select?

Hello Arsalan,
I was also thinking about curt's great idea of having new users automatically added to a public welcome group.
Did you manage to make any progress on this component?

Actually, I believe it was coughHumHubcough...but what I was looking at was that when a user registers they would automatically be added to a set of groups selected by admin. This may be something like a WELCOME group or a HINTS & TIPS group or some such.

No i don't think you can add collection of users into group. But it nice feature you requested. I shall create component.
