You mean they appear correct on newsfeed but when you click view all comment and on that page it appears no line break?

I tried and it doesn't. It only works when a wall post is among other wall posts. But when you see it by yourself (like when you click to see a comment on "notifications") it all becomes just one long line of text. Comments though are always one long text.
I use 5.1.

It supports the link break. Can you try to reload page and see if the newline added?
