OSSN loading and footer Customization

Please how can I change the blue loading icon that loads in OSSN. I changed the loading.gif in theme/goblue/images to a my own loading.gif file but that blue loading icon still ahoes in my site even after flushing cache.

Also, how can I change the footer background color and text color. I want to set the color of the text "about", "privacy" etc to a different color and I will also like to change the background color.
