The only file I can find containing the welcome message is in the folder locale -> ossn.en.php.
I edit it to change some wording on the welcome message and save, but this does nothing.
Tried cleaning local cache, new browser even private browsing. Heck, I even rebooted the server.
What am I missing here?
I'm using GreenbyGreen theme

I think I understand that using hello world is to override the main site ossn.en.php text.
It's not clear if this component can only be used for this and other main site functions or if I can combine all kinds of custom things into the single component.

Is that file overwritten with updates and you have to use 'hello world' for example or does that file survive updates?
I ask because I see it in an update so assume it gets overwritten.

Oh I figured it out! I remember now there is a cache setting in the admin panel. Disabling a re-enabling fixes it. Thanks!

Which cache did you cleared?
