My ossn was updated to v5.2 but when I check it it's only the file version that says 5.2 the my ossn section still says 5.1 so now my like button doesn't work cause I guess it was also updated to work with 5.2 but my ossn version says 5.1 still

Replaced the folder its still saying ossn 5.1

How do I make sure it's owned by user not root

Replace It with new themes folder from 5.2.
Later make sure your folder is owned by 'user' not root

Ok so delete the whole folder that says theme and replace it?

Disable cache
Delete goblue theme upload theme again from v5.2 folder.
Login into admin run your website.com/upgrade/uprade.php
