What is the best way to tweak your host so “Keep me logged” in persists longer for the user? Is it possible for them to close their browser and come back later and not have to login?

Attaching....no place to attach. It’s the “Keep me logged in” checkbox on the log page that I’m talking about. Isn’t this supposed to save a cookie on the user device to allow the user to stay logged in?

It's not a module, it is the "checkbox" on the core login page. When I check it, what is supposed to happen (how long does it last and how can you make it last longer) I find that I have to login frequently, but I don't know how it is supposed to function.

I don't see anything like Keep me Loggedin in free OSSN.
