Any one please tell me any messenger like facebook (android app)

we are now getting ready for v4 and still no app, apart from the free kind of app you can get online that displays the web page its self,
I assume it can be forked and customised to work for a specific site, rather than as a one-size-fits-all app that can be used on all OSSN sites, yes?
From what I have read in past posts an android app will be released after version 3.0.

Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
