and how do i use the verifyperms.php

German Michael Zülsdorff Replied 3 years ago

sorry, but in the beginning you asked:

i just need to know if the permission should be 755 or 777

and that's why I recommended to use verifyperms.php

if its a fresh update dont i have to download the system info component

German Michael Zülsdorff Replied 3 years ago

you may use the verifyperms.php utility which comes bundled with the System Info component
to verify the correct permissions and ownership of your installation
