There are many names that have only 3 characters.
Joe, Bob, Al, Ali, etc etc etc.
Is there somewhere that this can be changed so it won't be overwritten, perhaps using the hello world which I'm already using?

Yes, sorry, I missed that obvious mention :).
So if I edit this file, this would be something I have to re-edit on every update right?
Maybe this could be added as an admin option at some point.

As mentioned below you can not do it using component.

That's fine, How can I do that? Can I use the hello world and if so, what should I put into that and where?

I am afraid there is no way to edit this using component it requires you to edit users class and change condition there.
