Is the default data directory OSSS_DATA
To add photos would mean me showing what's on my server, so I didn't add any however in the root directory?

wow I reread what I wrote that was horribly written. My apologies.
The home/ username
directory is outside of the publichtml directory correct?
So If i created a directory in the /home/username/ossndata
That would be in the root directory and outside of public_html directory correct?

@Maruice, i am sorry I didn't understand your question well. Can you explain?
Data directory must be outside www or public_html example
/home/youruser/ossn_data/ is ok
/home/youruser/public_html/ossn_data/ not ok

Correction OSSN_DATA
