Add-on more standard direct post options

eric redegeld Posted in Component Development 5 days ago

i have been looking at the script humhub.

They got good basic wall post options. Like:
tinymce
direct post/upload video
direct post/upload audio
etc
Now at OSSN the video stay long on pending before posting, so i am loosing users

These standard options would really make OSSN beter.
Willing to pay for it, or make this for the premium available
Regards Eric

Note that the speed you can see after conversion starts example when you see conversion bar moves a bit. This one have 1 minute queue processing timer. By default its 5

Note that conversion (i am talking about when actually conversion starts when you see bar moving) of bar is started and taking long time that is where your server problem is

4GB is not enough and also it's VPS.

Make sure it's nvme disk. After uploading video try running cron job manually.

If conversion taking time ossn can't do anything its your server. Ossn just taking conversion status value from system.

RAM

so, i can try the cron to *

got vps here
https://liteserver.nl/nvme-ssd-vps/

Change from time from */5 to * and upgrade server with more RAM like 16GB to 32GB (+ swap x 2 actual ram) and with nvme disk type your problem will resolve.
