I'm sorry Harry,
but I'm currently busy with other projects, and I have no time for thoroughly testing things...
The available features of TinyMCE througout Ossn are initialized via TextareaSupport.
You may give it a try at your own risk and add table to line 61 and 110 of
components/TextareaSupport/plugins/default/input/textarea.php
like

plugins: "table lists code image media link fullscreen insertdatetime print spellchecker preview emoticons",

This will add a new TinyMCE menu entry named "Table" right aside of "Tools"
But please don't expect any further assistance, as I'm no TinyMCE expert anyway

I heard from Arsalan that Michael is the designer of the Blog component, so I would like to ask him if the tables option can be added to Tiny in the blog component.
