My question is do you all have any plans to add counters so when people view pics or videos we can know if they are going viral or not?
Ohhh wow it's amazing to see this being work on and posted under my suggestion. This feels so awesome. Thank you for the work you are doing @Eric Redegeld. I'm still trying to understand php. Makes me truly feel like part of the community. Amazing to see.

Just a quick thought—while waiting for an official feature or a plugin, you might also be able to hack something together via theme templates or hooks if you really need it right now. Though an official component would definitely be cleaner!

That would actually be a really awesome feature to have! As of right now, I don't think view counters for photos and videos are built into core OSSN, but it sounds like a great suggestion for a community plugin or a feature request on their GitHub. Keeping track of engagement definitely helps build a more active community, so hopefully, the developers or some talented community contributor pick this up soon!
