@Ken, since you are upgrading from 2.x to 3.1 did you disabled all non-core component? i am sure after upgrade you just see a white page.

On your 2.x installation first disable non-core components.

When applying the upgrade directions. Do we leave the files in the folder? Or do we manually extract them to the root dir? I followed the upgrade directions on a test environment and messed it up. Your directions say to leave the config dir intact while deleting everything else. Has anyone else had difficulty with upgrading? I tried going from version 2.x to 3.01. Will ver. 3.1 be better? Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance!

Ken

Is there a simple way to install this? Can you list out what files to replace?

The reason I'm asking.
I have my own theme since yours isn't responsive. I'll have to go folder by folder replacing your page, login, and registration pages with mine.
I just did this yesterday since I was using the dev version and switched to the prod version. Now today I'll be doing the same thing.

Why can't there be an install that updates the files you changed or is there?

Hello syed, I downloaded the 3.1 version, backup my ossn files, and uploaded the zip file into the public_html root of the cPanel, extracted it, but doesn't extract, so it was unable to upgrade,
Please I need your help to do the upgrading.

Thanks and Regards.
