Why doesn't the Create An account link appear as much as the login option in the White Theme? Is it a Theme issue or a script issue? Because people want to join my site but only if you CLICK ON the SITE LOGO will the Create An Account link appear. This is the problem I'm dealing with ...here's what a user just sent me...
Hi,
It didn’t even give me the option to create an account, just log in and I refreshed. I’ll try again and circle back if unsuccessful.
What is the Create An Account Link, because I want to add it in the FOOTER (as a permanent link) so I'm not losing potential clients, members or users.
Thank you,
Helen
Thank you Michael. It's Done. Some people just lack TACT. Anyway ain't calling no names. lol
I'd suggest to either simply link to your startpage by means of the menubuilder component like

This will give a link in your footer directing to your Landing Page theme
with the "Create an account / Login here" toggle included...

and/or use my UnloggedinMenuHomeButton component which will remove the confusing Login button your visitors are stumbling upon.
It won't work and doesn't work for me, it will work for you for few hours until you close your browser.
Arsalan it works. I already tried it. Can I not keep it as is?
You can not create a seperate page like this https://www.bdasocial.com/p/846/create-an-account it won't work as the signup page have dynamic tokens.
What you can do is you can add a Signup/Create account on your topbar where you see other menus like Groups, Events
So I noticed that the landingpagealpha is spelt incorrectly two times <div class="ladningalpha-contents-right"> when viewing the page source. So don't know if that has something to do with the delayed response in appearing where it should appear (the Create An Account) link.
Anyway I went ahead and created a separate create an account page and now it is in the footer. It's not ideal but I hope it works. https://www.bdasocial.com/p/846/create-an-account
And that page indeed has no 'Create an account' link. EXACTLY my point! Now you see for yourself @Michael. That's why I wish I could have a create an account link fixed in the footer.
Ah, I think I got it. ;)
Steps to reproduce
And that page indeed has no 'Create an account' link.
yes Michael it does show up but not all the time for some reason no matter how many times you load the homepage. It won't show up unless you click on the site logo image. I kid you not. It happens more when you visit a page or post that has been shared for non-logged in users. But anyway it works, just not how i would like it to. Thanks for checking though. Appreciate you.
I cannot reproduce that issue.
For me, your start-page clearly shows a "Create an account link", both in desktop and mobile view:

Due to the many requests in the past for additonal features and components we have decided to develope a premium version. Features like Hashtags, Videos, Polls, Events, Stories, Link Preview, etc included in it.
