If you follow the steps in ...
https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/wiki/view/2022/how-to-publish-a-component

... what exactly doesn't work for you?

gr Greta Kane Replied 5 years ago

by the way, the third party components, are components I created for my users entertainment
I tried to upload them here, in case somebody is interested, but it didn't work ...

Thank you very much for your help
You are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Greta,

in this case - fortunately - you didn't follow my instructions completely leaving Malik Umer's embed component still enabled. And since this component comes with a security hole (anyone outside may read any posting) I was able to find the broken record by doing some trial and error.

To get rid of that record:
Log in to your site with admin privileges as usual,
then enter the following line to your browser's address field:
https://torr.org/ossn/embed/1362
You'll get a some way corrupted page this way, too
showing the avatar of Victor Hingsberg and a Delete link below.
Simply click that Delete link, and the posting will be removed.
Ignore resulting errors, just proceed back to https://torr.org/ossn/home

I'd strongly recommend to update your site to Osssn 5.x. which will handle cases like that correctly. As long as you're running 4.6: Don't delete users who had posted to other member's profile pages or asure these kind of postings have been deleted first.

OK I did what you asked me ~Z~Man
I disabled all the 3rd party components, disabled cache and deleted error log file
I loaded the 2nd page and the result is the same
the 2nd page is still corrupted ......
These are the lines in the error log file :
[29-Jun-2019 14:35:46 America/Chicago] PHP Warning: Module 'imagick' already loaded in Unknown on line 0
[29-Jun-2019 14:35:47 America/Chicago] PHP Warning: Module 'SourceGuardian' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

OK ~Z~Man, will do
But before that, i would like to let you know, that the only News Feed page that is not displayed correctly is the second one, all the other pages, first, third, forth etc are displayed correctly ...
does that mean anything to you ???
Thank you

Okay,

  1. Disable Ossn cache

  2. asure you can trigger the issue by calling your newsfeed like https://torr.org/ossn/home?offset=2
(remember the offset may increase/decrease if other members added/removed postings in the meantime)

  3. disable all 3rd party components except of the systeminfo component

  4. remove the file named error.log (it will be re-created automatically)

  5. try to trigger the issue again as you did in step 1.

if that newsfeed page is still corrupted, provide your fresh error.log
if not, enable your 3rd party components step by step until the issue appears again and provide the error log to the vendor.

I forgot to mention that the error.log file shows 2 lines repeatedly:
[28-Jun-2019 13:20:54 America/Chicago] PHP Warning: Module 'imagick' already loaded in Unknown on line 0
[28-Jun-2019 13:20:54 America/Chicago] PHP Warning: Module 'SourceGuardian' already loaded in Unknown on line 0

~Z~Man you are right
Thats exactly what happens
when i went to the second page of news feed, the page becomes corrupted again
Only the first page is correct
In the Inspect Element console, i found this report : home:1 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://torr.org/ossn/home?offset=2' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure font 'http://fonts.gstatic.com/s/roboto/v18/KFOkCnqEu92Fr1MmgVxFIzIFKw.woff2'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
Any help about what I should do ???
Thank you
