What I think is a GDPR problem: my friends can be seen by everyone, I can’t control that only my friends can see who my friend is or no one can see.

I agree if it is not a GDPR problem. It is good for the user to see only the friends the user allows. Is this possible?

Not a GDPR problem at all. GDPR is user data protection not related to friends. I am not a lawyer maybe it is good chance to consult lawyer.
